Running a juice bar in Miami means your reputation depends on one thing: every glass has to taste the same at 8 AM and 6 PM. The problem isn’t your recipe. It’s your supply. Most wholesale orange distributors sell «juice oranges» as an afterthought—mixed bins, inconsistent size, fruit that looks good but yields nothing. PJ Citrus does the opposite. We select, pack, and deliver wholesale oranges specifically for high-volume juicing. California Navel in season. Florida Valencia year-round. All in 30 lb cases built for your cooler and your machine.

The Problem With Buying Oranges for Juice

You bought a box of «juice oranges» last week. Half were dry. A quarter were too soft by day three. Your barista squeezed slower to compensate, your line backed up, and a regular asked why today’s glass tasted different.
You blamed the supplier. Then you ordered from another one. Same result.
The citrus industry sells «juice oranges» as a category. Nobody guarantees what that means for your machine, your speed, or your customer who comes back because yesterday’s juice was perfect.

What Makes an Orange

«Machine-Ready»

A juice bar orange is not a grocery store orange. We filter for three things before any case leaves our warehouse:
Yield per piece — thin skin, heavy juice content, minimal pulp clog
Shelf stability — fruit that holds 5 to 7 days in your walk-in without softening
Size consistency — fits your feeder without jamming or manual re-cutting
If a lot fails any of those tests, we don’t blend it into a «juice mix.» We reject it or redirect it to non-juice channels. What arrives at your back door is fruit that was packed for one purpose: your juicer.

California Navel Oranges for Premium Juice Programs

Season: November through March
California Navel is the industry standard for fresh-squeezed juice. Seedless, easy to peel, and high in natural sweetness. If your menu features «fresh California orange juice» as a premium line, this is the variety that delivers the flavor your customers name-check.
Case size: 30 lbs
Best for: Premium positioning, winter menus, low-acid blends
Storage: 38°F, 2–3 week shelf life under refrigeration

Florida Valencia Oranges for Year-Round Operations

Season: March through September
When California Navels taper off, Florida Valencia carries your program without interruption. Slightly firmer texture, balanced acidity, and a longer storage window. This is the workhorse variety for juice bars that cannot afford a gap in supply or a spike in waste.
Case size: 30 lbs
Best for: Daily operations, bulk buying, accounts with limited cold storage
Storage: 38°F, 3–4 week shelf life

Mixed Juice Cases at Wholesale Price

Not every juice bar needs premium single-variety fruit every delivery. Our mixed cases combine California and Florida oranges at a lower per-pound rate. Every piece is machine-ready. None are table fruit or seconds disguised as juice stock. If your margin depends on cost control without sacrificing yield, this is your option.
Case size: 30 lbs
Availability: Year-round
Best for: High-volume bars, base-menu juice, cost-sensitive operations

Juice Machine Rental & Maintenance Included

Fruit is only half the equation. If your Zummex, Santos, or Citrocasa is down, your revenue stops. We rent commercial juice machines to accounts on recurring delivery. Installation, scheduled maintenance are included in the monthly rate. Same team that selects your oranges services your equipment. One call. One relationship. Zero downtime.

Delivery Routes Across South Florida

We deliver wholesale oranges on weekly routes through:
Miami-Dade
Broward
Palm Beach
Orlando
Tampa
Frequency adjusts to your volume: twice weekly for high-traffic bars, three times if you run multiple locations. You set the schedule. We build the route around it.

How to Start Without a Contract

We don’t ask for a 12-month commitment on day one. We ask for a test.
Tell us your volume — cases per week and machine model (or if you need one)
We deliver sample cases — California Navel, Florida Valencia, or mixed
You test yield and flavor — squeeze, time it, taste it across three days
We schedule recurring delivery — only if the numbers work for you
If the fruit doesn’t hold up, we adjust the mix or walk away. No penalty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to rent your juice machine? No. We supply fruit alone. But if your current machine is aging or you’re paying separate maintenance, our bundled rate usually costs less than managing two vendors.
What if the fruit doesn’t match my last delivery? Call within 24 hours of receiving. We replace the case on the next delivery or credit immediately. We track by lot number, so we know exactly what went out and why.
Can I change my mix week to week? Yes. One week all Valencia, next week half Navel half Valencia. We need 48 hours notice for changes.
What is the minimum order? 4 cases on route. One pallet (54 cases) for wholesale pricing. Sample cases are available for first-time accounts before committing to a pallet.
Do you deliver outside South Florida? Our core routes are Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando, and Tampa. If you are outside these areas, contact us. We may coordinate a consolidated route or refer you to a partner.
